Grade 2 Assistant Teacher Full-Time | On-Site Role Description  The Grade 2 Assistant Teacher is a full-time, on-site role located in the Greater Boston area. The Assistant Teacher supports the lead Grade 2 teacher in implementing daily classroom instruction, reinforcing curriculum, and assisting with lesson activities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: working with small groups and individual students, helping manage classroom routines, supporting behavior expectations, and preparing instructional materials. The role also involves collaborating with faculty and staff, communicating with the lead teacher and school administration, and contributing to a positive, faith-filled learning environment. POSITION SUMMARY: An early childhood paraprofessional will work under the direction of the lead teacher in the K0/K1 classroom. The paraprofessional will actively support students in the early childhood classrooms, learning centers, and across all school settings as appropriate, as well as support the lead teacher throughout the school day. This position requires the ability to perform work indoors and outdoors in a classroom and playground environment engaged in work of a moderately active nature. FLSA: Non-Exempt/Staff 37.5 hours per week, ten months per year, 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM during the calendar school year. This is a benefit-eligible position. This position is anticipated for the 2026-2027 school year, depending upon suffi cient program enrollment.
